The majority of care providers are very busy organisations and understandably prioritise care over completing paperwork in preparation for CSSIW inspection.  A little help with the self-assessment process can make all the difference when it comes to inspection.  A thorough self-assessment will involve the team and help raise awareness when the inspector comes.  It may also provide a great opportunity to check that you're doing all that you can do to support people in the best possible way and help ensure that staff remember to evidence individual development.
